IMSA: Teams set to test for Brickyard race
The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship series will prepare for racing during the third annual Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard with a test session on Thursday, June 19 on the 13-turn, 2.534-mile road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Testing will take place for teams from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
The 2014 Kroger Super Weekend will mark the third consecutive year in which exotic prototype and production-based GT sports cars will race on the IMS road course. TUDOR United SportsCar Championship races will take place at IMS on Friday, July 25 featuring the Brickyard Grand Prix race for two prototype classes and two GT classes, and the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race consisting of the Grand Sport and Street Tuner classes.
Fans are welcome to watch the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Series test from the South Terrace grandstands and the Turn 2 viewing mounds adjacent to the IMS Hall of Fame Museum at no charge.
