Kyalami circuit up for auction

The former South African Grand Prix circuit of Kyalami will go up for sale at auction next month.

The track, which hosted Formula 1 from 1960-'85 and again from 1992-'93, will be auctioned without a reserve price by High Street Auctions on July 24 in what is described as a liquidation.

Kyalami was the site of Jim Clark's last F1 victory in 1968 and served as the season finale in 1983, when Nelson Piquet edged Alain Prost for the world championship.
