Millennium to miss Le Mans test day
The Millennium Racing LMP2 team will miss Sunday's Le Mans test day.
The Millennium squad run by Delta-ADR, which was re-admitted to the Le Mans entry earlier this month, is not present with either of the OERCA-Nissan 03Rs that it had intended to run in the test ahead of its one-car entry in the 24 Hours on next month. No comment was available from the team, but it is understood that it is still working to take part in the World Endurance Championship blue riband with Oliver Turvey, John Martin and Fabien Giroix driving its solo entry.
Millennium was forced to miss the first two WEC rounds and withdraw its two cars from Le Mans courtesy of the late arrival of sponsorship funds. It was subsequently re-admitted to the entry when a spate of further withdrawals meant there were no further reserve entries.
