IndyCar: KVSH to partner Byrd for '15 Indy 500

Jonathan Byrd's Racing will partner with KVSH Racing for its planned entry in next year's Indianapolis 500.

The organisation's plans to field a car for Bryan Clauson at Indy next year were unveiled earlier this month. The 24-year-old, whop is currently attempting to defend his USAC Sprint Car crown with Tony Stewart Racing, said that he is looking forward to the collaboration.

"We have a lot of great things happening at Jonathan Byrd's Racing," he said. "Aligning ourselves with KVSH Racing, a team which has competed many times at Indy and won the race, is a big step forward."

KVSH won the Indy 500 with Tony Kanaan last year. Its highest-placed driver this year was Sebastien Bourdais in seventh.
