MotoGP: Bradl also has arm operation
LCR Honda MotoGP rider Stefan Bradl has undergone surgery to treat an arm pump condition in his right forearm following the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.
The German had already undergone surgery in November 2012, but the intensive training program during the winter meant Bradl needed another operation.
Honda's Dani Pedrosa also had surgery for arm pump on Tuesday.
"First of all I wish to thank Dr. Streifinger and his staff, we knew each other since 2010 when he operated on me for the first time," said Bradl. "After the arm pump problems I suffered in Jerez, we decided to treat the right forearm again and the operation was very quick, only 15 minutes.
"Now I am starting my recovery program to be fit for the forthcoming GP in Le Mans."
