MotoGP: Marquez insists he's not getting complacent

Marc Marquez does not think there is any danger of him getting complacent despite his invincible start to the 2014 MotoGP season.

The reigning world champion has taken all three poles and victories so far this year. Asked if he thought it might be harder to maintain focus while in such a dominant position, Marquez replied: "I think it will be easier.

"After three victories, of course your confidence is so high and maybe you can think that it will be easier, but I know that the year is very, very long."

Marquez currently holds a 19-point championship lead over Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa. He does not regard that margin as a comfortable one, especially with the next round at Jerez this weekend taking place at a track where Pedrosa won last season.

"Of course if we can win at Jerez, we will try 100 percent because we never know what can happen in the future," said Marquez. "We know that Dani is very strong.

"I've won three races but he is only 19 points behind me and now we're arriving at his favorite circuit. We know that there will be some circuits where we will struggle a little bit more, but we will try to be better at them than last year."
