Ellis Clowes & Co and MB Partners announce strategic partnership for 2014

Specialist insurance broker Ellis Clowes & Co. has signed a strategic partnership with MB Partners, "the boutique sports agency with global reach" founded by former F1 and IndyCar driver, and TV pundit, Mark Blundell. Blundell will serve as CEO, Theo Paphitis as Chairman and Ian Childs as MD. As a long-term star of the BBC's Dragons' Den Paphitis is one of the UK's most well-known entrepreneurs and retailers. Childs brings a network of sporting and commercial contacts from his time at Movie & Media Sports and Octagon's Far East & Australasian operations

The new arrangement will see Ellis Clowes & Co. supporting the MB Partners' client portfolio as a collective. The two companies have long worked together and Ellis Clowes & Co has been the preferred insurance broker for MB Partners and its clients for a number of years, but this new strategic partnership will see the two companies continue to collaborate on their core businesses while developing new opportunities in other sporting arenas and sectors.
