Force India, Toro Rosso run new cars

Toro Rosso and Force India both gave their 2014 Formula 1 cars their first runs on track on Friday.

Force India carried out a day of "promotional" running with Nico Hulkenberg driving the new VJM07 on the International circuit at Silverstone. The team released a side-on teaser image of its 2014 design earlier this week.

Toro Rosso used the Misano circuit in Italy to do some filming work with its new STR9, the team's first Renault-powered car. Jean-Eric Vergne and new teammate Daniil Kvyat both had turns behind the wheel.

Neither team released images of their cars on track. The Force India and Toro Rosso will both break cover in public for the first time at Jerez next week, with Toro Rosso holding an unveiling event on Monday afternoon before testing starts on Tuesday.
