MotoGP shuffles 2014 calendar
MotoGP has changed the dates of its final races of its 2014 calendar, switching the order of its Malaysia-Japan-Australia-triple header.
Japan will now kick off the back-to-backs rounds on Oct. 12, the sport's governing body the FIM has confirmed. The Motegi event will be followed by Australia and then Malaysia on Oct. 19 and 26, respectively.
As revealed in October, 19 rounds are planned for the 2014 season, with FIM confirming Spanish Grand Prix organizers have now finalized a deal to have the Jerez race on May 4.
The race in Brazil remains subject to confirmation, however.
