Audi Sport gets sprawling new home


Preliminary building works have been completed in the complex of the Audi Driving Experience Center in Neuburg, Germany. In summer 2014, around 300 Audi employees will be moving from Ingolstadt to the Neuburg facility, where all Audi Motorsport activities will operate out of.

?Audi Sport has continually grown since its formation in 1980 and the technical requirements have become increasingly demanding as well,? emphasized Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich. ?The new center is a very important step for us to assure our continued ability of being successful in motorsport.?

In addition to racing facilities, the new center features 47 acres of terrain, with a handling course that provides an ideal environment for customers to learn about Audi sports model. There will also be a challenging off-road section with gravel for testing Audi SUV models.
