"Rush" remains a solid theatrical draw

"Rush" remains a strong draw at the movies into mid-October. Ron Howard's Formula 1 epic remains among the top-10 grossing movies in its fourth week of U.S. release, having earned a total of $22,222,924 domestically according to data from .

Internationally, the picture gets even brighter " another $47.5 million, for a total take of $69,722,924 to date. That's nearly double the film's production budget ($38m) and certainly justifies Howard's faith in the ability of the subject matter to attract a general audience.
