Motor racing likes to talk about technology transfer. From the racetrack to Main Street, there are a litany of examples demonstrating how pioneering innovations tried and tested from Indy to Le Mans to Monaco are now common place not just on the supercar level but down to the cars that ordinary people use to make ordinary commutes every day.Occasionally, the technology transfer occurs outside of the automotive realm.
