Skip Barber Racing School sets winter series schedules

Taking place at renowned racetracks around the country, the Skip Barber Winter Series brings talented racers, race industry experts, and race enthusiasts together as the racers compete for two championships in either the Skip Barber Formula 2000 R/T or the MAZDASPEED MX-5 racecars. Drivers will compete in multiple races per weekend as they battle for their cut of the potential $290,000 in Skip Barber Racing School awards. Champions like Ryan Hunter-Reay, John Edwards and many others were shaped in these equal-car Skip Barber Race Series events under the watchful eye of the Skip Barber Racing School instructors.

Over the course of six weekends from November to April, the Formula Skip Barber 2000 drivers will compete for $162,500 in awards including coveted spots in the 2014 Skip Barber Race Series Championship Shootout, which boasts a major driver development scholarship through MAZDASPEED Motorsports.
