Sebastian Vettel is overwhelmingly tipped to finally break his home curse at the Nurburgring on Sunday, according to players of the Castrol EDGE Grand Prix Predictor, 42 per cent of which have predicted he will win the German Grand Prix.
Even the GPP experts are unified in their belief that Vettel will dominate this weekend.
“It’s hard to see past Sebastian Vettel taking victory on home soil in Germany,” said the game’s ambassador Karun Chankdhok. “Yes, the Mercedes were quick and Lewis Hamilton was in top form at Silverstone, but I still think under normal circumstances Seb would’ve got ahead somehow.
“If you look at how Mark Webber hunted down Nico Rosberg towards the end, that gives you an idea of the cars’ relative performance.”
It’s easy and free to play the GPP, simply sign in at www.gppredictor.com or play through the Facebook app and pick the top 10 finishers in each grand prix, and more besides. There are also great prizes, like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to win every race if you score the most points in a given grand prix.
