The World Endurance Championhip has confirmed a pair of European races will take the place of the events in Bahrain and Qatar at the end of this season.

The legendary Tourist rophy will once again be presented to WEC's Silverstone winners.

The Qatar 1812km will take place later in the year due to ongoing armed conflict across the region.
