The FIA has announced that the World Rallycross Championship will revert to a European Championship from 2026, with a standalone "World Cup" event.

The 2026 FIA World Rally Championship will not include a long-sought U.S. round, but series organizers are confident of Rally USA getting a slot in ’27.
