Brad Keselowski was the fastest of seven Fords in final practice at Fontana’s Auto Club Speedway.

Keselowski led the way with a lap of 176.648 mph over Daniel Hemric. The Richard Childress Racing rookie ran a quick lap of 176.548 mph, which had been fastest enough to pace much of the session.

Five Ford drivers followed with Daniel Suarez clocking in third quickest at 176.293 mph, Aric Almirola fourth at 176.168 mph, Ryan Blaney fifth at 176.130 mph, Joey Logano sixth at 176.082 mph, and Ryan Newman seventh at 176.052 mph.

Completing the top 10 was Alex Bowman at 175.940 mph, polesitter Austin Dillon at 175.940 mph, and the last of the Fords, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., at 175.906 mph.

Jimmie Johnson ran the most laps in the session (52). He was 18th fastest.

Defending race winner Martin Truex Jr. was 19th on the leaderboard.

There were no incidents in the session.
