Chris Buescher put down the fastest lap in second NASCAR Cup Series practice at ISM Raceway at 137.973 mph (26.092 seconds). The polesitter for the TicketGuardian 500, Ryan Blaney, was second fastest. Blaney’s fastest lap was 137.915 mph.

The session was 50 minutes in length with no issues.

Completing the top five was Brad Keselowski (137.646 mph), Kyle Larson (137.615 mph), and Kyle Busch (137.594 mph).

Rounding out the top 10 were Kevin Harvick (137.588 mph), Joey Logano (137.415 mph), Austin Dillon (137.394 mph), Alex Bowman (137.336 mph), and Kurt Busch (137.279 mph). Harvick is the defending race winner.

Kurt Busch and Paul Menard, who was 20th fastest, ran the most laps in the session at 46.

All 36 drivers participated in the session.
