Dalton Kellett returns for a fourth season in the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires series, joining Indy Pro 2000 Champion Rinus VeeKay in Juncos Racing’s two-car 2019 line-up.

Canadian Kellett captured one pole and two podiums on route to seventh place in the 2018 point standings. Tenth in his rookie season (2016), he won the Hi-Tide Boat Lifts Kids on Track Spirit Award in ’17 among other career highlights.

“Competing in the 2019 Indy Lights season with Juncos Racing is a very exciting opportunity,” Kellett said. Ricardo [Juncos] and his team have proven themselves championship winners on many occasions and across different series, and I am very enthusiastic about our new partnership.

“For me, consistency, podiums, and, of course, wins will be the focus this year. It’s been a long off-season, so I am ready for St. Pete and can’t wait to get back behind the wheel.”

Kellett will drive the No. 67 K-Line Insulators USA/Ten80 Education Juncos Racing entry in the March 9-10 Indy Lights opener.

Team owner Ricardo Juncos commented, “We are really looking forward to working with an Indy Lights veteran like Dalton. He has continued to grow each year in the series, and we look to carry this momentum into the 2019 season.

“He is not only a great addition to our team, but also as a teammate for our rookie, Rinus [VeeKay]. I want to thank Dalton’s family and sponsors for this chance to add him to our growing program.”
