The Verizon IndyCar Series‘ return to Portland International Raceway led into NASCAR Cup Sunday afternoon on NBCSN, and scored a 0.35/529,000. That’s down slightly from the Watkins Glen IndyCar race held on this date last year, which scored a 0.41/604,000, also on NBCSN.
Formula 1‘s Italian Grand Prix on ESPN2 scored a 0.39/601,000 on Sunday morning, up from a 0.32/508,000 last year on NBCSN.
The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series was back on the “CBS Sports Spectacular” anthology series on Sunday (on CBS’ broadcast network, not CBSSN) and secured a 0.31/468,000, down slightly from the 0.37/532,000 for its last appearance on CBS two weeks earlier. For the sake of comparison, last year’s CBS Sports Spectacular episode on this date featured the “World’s Strongest Man” competition, which scored an 0.74/1.1m in the same Sunday 3 p.m. time slot.
