On Monday afternoon, we’ll be pulling the covers off a new RACER.com: a complete redesign that’s cleaner, easier to read, easier to navigate and faster to load than the one that has served us for the past few years.
It’s a total reset of the site from front to back, built upon an entirely new publishing platform. About the only thing that won’t change? The content itself. All of our current writers will still be here, producing the same great coverage that has made RACER.com the top-ranked independent motorsport site in North America. We’re excited to be able to offer you a better stage upon which to showcase it.
Due to the technical demands of the changeover, the Comments feature will be unavailable for approximately 24 hours after the new site goes live. (To those among you who are active in the Comments section, we will be retaining Disqus). It’s also possible that some of you might encounter glitches that we haven’t uncovered yet – if you do, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The new site represents the latest step in RACER’s previously-announced content syndication partnership with USA TODAY, which creates exposure for some of our content reaching beyond motorsport’s traditional audience, and the associated marketing alliance that gives our commercial partners access to one of North America’s biggest media brands. RACER remains independently-owned, and committed to keeping you connected to the sport with America’s best motorsport coverage.
Thanks for reading RACER.com, and we look forward to seeing you on the new site!
