MOMO NGT Motorsport is evaluating Stadium Super Truck and off-road programs to dovetail with its Ferrari 488 GT3 campaigns in the Pirelli World Challenge and WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next year.
The team is riding on the back of its second-place finish in this year’s PWC’s GTA class for owner/driver Henrique Cisneros in its 458 GT3. Building on this result, Cisneros is switching to the new 488 GT3 for a part-time schedule with both the PWC and IMSA.
“We’re going to try to do four races in Pirelli World Challenge, focusing on the endurance side, and probably do the 12 Hours of Sebring,” Cisneros told RACER.
Cisneros is also looking at racing in Stadium Super Trucks, Global RallyCross, and dirt-based events such as the Baja 1000.
“I like to call myself the head of R&D at MOMO,” said Cisneros. “We want to keep testing different products in different series and push the brand to new places.”
MOMO Motorsport expects to announce its PWC schedule soon, with Cisneros anticipating a first test of the 488 GT3 at Ferrari’s Fiorano circuit next month.
