SportsCar magazine’s redesigned April 2014 issue poised to hit mailboxes

The April 2014 issue of SportsCar magazine, the official member magazine of the Sports Car Club of America, is currently whipping its way to the mailboxes of all 60,000 SCCA members. This is no ordinary issue, either, as this edition of SportsCar has been re-imagined, bringing a new feel and look to the 71-year-old monthly publication.

The magazine is following in the footsteps of RACER, its sister publication, by moving to a premium quality paper, presenting SCCA life in bright, glossy reality. A glance is all that’s needed to see this issue isn’t like any printed in recent years. The cover, emblazoned with the phrase “The Right Stuff,” is a new take on SportsCar’s image.

High quality photography and an extended cover feature welcome readers in, where they’ll also discover action-packed gallery images from today and yesteryear. Also included in this issue are features about competitive improvements you can make right now, the history of helmet standards, and the realities of performance exhausts that will pass stringent sound requirements.

SportsCar magazine is mailed monthly to the members of the SCCA. To join the SCCA, head to http://www.scca.com. Digital issues of SportsCar magazine are available to SCCA members by logging in to https://ams.scca.com.
