Ford-powered Daytona Prototype machinery continued its domination of free practice for tomorrow’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in the final session ahead qualifying this afternoon.

The two Chip Ganassi Racing Riley-Ford EcoBoost DPs jumped to the top of the timesheets in the closing minutes of the one-hour session in the hands of Scott Pruett and Scott Dixon.

Pruett ended up fastest on 1m53.241s, which was just over two tenths of a second ahead of his teammate. They leapfrogged the best of the LMP2s, the OAK Racing Morgan-Nissan driven by Olivier Pla, which ended up third on a 1m53.567s.

The GT Le Mans class was led by the best of the Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs driven by Antonio Garcia. The Spaniard’s best lap of 1m59.133s put him two tenths ahead of Dirk Muller in the fastest of the Rahal BMW Z4s.

Raphael Matos led the way in the Prototype Challenge class with the Performance Tech team, while Kevin Estre was quickest in the GT Daytona division with the Park Place Porsche team.
