Dear RACER readers,
Thank you for your patience while the new-look RACER.com runs its installation lap.
RACER.com has had more than just a facelift: we migrated servers from our previous administrator’s system and have gone to a whole new platform, which has entailed more down time (and up-and-down time) than we or you would have liked. There could never be a convenient time to do this, but it made sense to aim for this six-week gap between the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship’s first and second rounds, and before the NASCAR season fires up.
Just as with road cars, the long-term user often discovers his or her car’s quirks and foibles before the manufacturer, so if you find any gremlins in the system, we urge you to send your observations to email@example.com. We appreciate and pay close attention to all feedback, and this new platform is far more flexible so issues can be rectified swiftly.
What hasn’t changed is our commitment to being your best source of motorsport news and features. With RACER.com v.3.0 at last reflecting the elegant look of RACER magazine, and with the opportunity to display far more stories on our home page and present them in a more logical and visually appealing manner, we believe we have made a major step forward in making RACER.com more user-friendly. This will be particularly appreciated by those using the website on a mobile device, for this website is reactive and more compatible with iPhones and iPads.
There will be more big news to come from Racer Media & Marketing, Inc. in the months ahead, and we look forward to sharing it with you as soon as possible.
Again, thanks for your continued support. It’s a cliché but no less true for that – we couldn’t do it without you.
