Injured Wilson leaves hospital

By

Justin Wilson has been released from the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, Calif., after his IndyCar crash at Fontana last Saturday. The Briton has now returned to his Colorado home to continue his recovery.

Wilson suffered non-operable fractures to his pelvis and a small pulmonary contusion when he spun and was T-boned by the car of Tristan Vautier during the season finale.

No official time frame has been given for a possible return to full fitness, however a Tweet from his Dale Coyne Racing team on Sunday indicated that Wilson will be required to avoid bearing weight through the affected area of his pelvis for six to eight weeks.
